The Texas A&M Pre-Dental Society raised over $1,530 by selling tooth shaped sugar cookies on April 21, 2023! All proceeds benefitted Texas Mission of Mercy (TMOM) by the TDA Smiles Foundation, which you can read more about below. We are excited for what will happen in 2024!

SUPPORTING TEXAS MISSION OF MERCY

Texas Mission of Mercy is a mobile dental clinic that travels throughout Texas providing free dental care to those with limited access or resources. TMOM provides care by focusing on relieving pain as well as preventing infections. The main procedures include extractions, fillings, and cleanings. Limited cases include replacing missing front teeth as well as fixing partial dentures to restore the smiles and confidence of individuals. Since the start of Texas Mission of Mercy in 2001, 36,982 patients have been treated with $20,957,500 worth of donated care. Each dollar donated to TMOM provides $8 of dental care to those who attend the TMOM event. Also, donations to TMOM help fund awareness of oral hygiene in Texas.
